Via WetPaint.com: The current crop of American Idol contestants — many of whom are still under the age of 20 — could certainly take a cue from former teen sensation JoJo, considering how she got her start. Following an appearance on America’s Most Talented Kids, JoJo became the youngest solo artist to have a number-one single on Billboard — “Leave (Get Out)” — at the age of 13, and the 21-year-old’s third album, Jumping Trains, will be released later this year. We can imagine 16-year-old Jessica Sanchez, who went on America’s Got Talent at 11, following in JoJo’s footsteps. Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with the singer/actress at Perez Hilton’s Mad Hatter Tea Party Birthday Bash on Saturday, March 24, and asked if she’s been tuning into Idol this season and who she thinks could take the title.
